Gerard Butler is one of the celebrities affected by the California wildfires.
The 300 actor's home and properties were destroyed in the fire. He returned to his Malibu home on Saturday to find it completely destroyed by the fast-moving Woolsey fire.
The 48-year-old took to Instagram on Sunday to share the extent of the devastation. In the snap, he is seen standing in front of the remains of building and his burned out truck.
The actor looked worried as he emerged from his property followed by girlfriend Morgan Brown. They both had on heavy green jackets, jeans, boots and face masks around their necks.
He captioned it:
Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating. Heartbreaking time across California.
Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit and sacrifice of firefighters. Thank you @LosAngelesFireDepartment.

Singer Robin Thicke also lost the Malibu home he shares with model April Love Geary and their baby.
